      Good to know

      Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Call or text to set a time so your dog has a groomer's full attention. Quick visits for nails or ears can often fit in the same day; ask.

How often should my dog be groomed?

As a general guide, curly and doodle coats every 4 to 6 weeks, long coats every 6 to 8, double coats and short coats every 8 to 12 with a brush at home in between. The studio tells you what fits your dog.

      What should I bring?

A leash, proof of rabies vaccination if you have it handy, and a note about anything your dog is sensitive to: the dryer, the feet, other dogs. Skip breakfast right before if your dog gets car sick.

My dog is matted. Can you still help?

Yes. Bring them in and the groomer looks first. Tight mats are usually clipped short rather than brushed out, because brushing them hurts; they'll explain what's kind and what's possible.

How long does a groom take?

It depends on size, coat and how your dog handles the process. The studio gives you a pickup window when you drop off, and texts if it changes.
